Tricky part of photographing dancing is making sure there's movement. Without movement, it's boring and you're left wondering why people are standing there so strangely. I like how some of the images appear almost ghost-like. Tango is beautiful..I wish I didn't have two left feet.
I am looking forward to going again and practicing what I've learned so far. I'm also looking forward to getting my gels so that I can correct the white balance issues I've been having. If you correct for flash the house lights are amber and orangish, if you correct for the house lights the flash makes everyone blue...what a dilemma. You have to gel your flash to make it match the color temperature of the house lights...good thing to know!
